100 Days of Wins! • Eagle Forum

The Trump administration crossed its 100th day since President Donald Trump took office. As is tradition, the White House touted a long list of accomplishments. The President followed through on many of his campaign promises, and the American people are seeing the federal government return to family values and national responsibility.

Within the first weeks of Trump’s presidency, the Senate confirmed all his cabinet nominees. While the President only had a small part in the procedural part of the process, he and his White House staff were instrumental in whipping votes to get each nominee across the finish line. With the heads of each agency in place, the Trump administration has been able to go full speed ahead to implement the Trump agenda.

President Trump made stopping the flow of illegal immigration at our nation’s Southern Border a priority during his first months in office. Previously, the Biden administration’s inaction allowed over 2 million illegals to cross the border each year. In addition, they provided these unauthorized and largely unvetted crossers with welfare benefits, luxury hotels for lodging, and the freedom to travel within our nation. This dereliction of enforcement has been completely reversed.

Under the Trump administration, border encounters have gone down by 95%, and “gotaways” are down by 95%. Unaccompanied minors who entered our borders under the Biden administration made up 4.6% of border crossings, but now they make up 0.4%. The President targeted 8 cartels by designating them as terrorist organizations, including such as Tren de Aragua and MS-13. Anyone involved in these gangs has been or is under threat of immediate deportation. This year, 139,000 deportations have occurred, with many of those being convicted criminals.

The first bill President Trump signed into law was the Laken Riley Act, which requires ICE to detain illegal immigrants who commit “lesser” crimes such as theft. Laken Riley, a Georgia college student, was murdered by an illegal alien who had been given a pass for shoplifting in New York. This enabled him to travel to Georgia and brutally murder Laken while she was on a morning run. Additionally, Trump has issued executive actions to ensure taxpayer dollars are not spent on providing illegal immigrants with taxpayer benefits, including food stamps.

Children and women are once again protected under the Trump administration. Executive orders were issued to define sex as male and female only, to stop the promotion of gender ideology in schools, and to rid the federal government of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. Taxpayer dollars will no longer pay for transgender surgeries and cross-sex hormones. As a result, hospitals are pausing these procedures. Women are also no longer forced to share bathrooms and locker rooms with men, nor compete against males in sports.

Many of the policies that erased women under the Biden administration came from the Department of Education (DOE) — an institution that has wreaked havoc on American students since its creation. For 45 years, regulations and spending significantly increased while academic performance plummeted. Parents were shut out of the debate about what is occurring in the classroom. Instead, federal regulations, led by the teachers’ unions, demand secrecy while they confuse children about their bodies and emotions. President Trump signed an executive order in March to begin dismantling the DOE to return education to the states and local communities where it belongs.

Perhaps the greatest achievement of the Trump administration is one that doesn’t involve a change in law. We have seen a true passion for families once again. Children often fill the halls of the White House now — whether it’s President Trump’s grandchildren, Elon Musk’s son, or Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s baby boy. The President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, shared a sweet video of her son playing piano in the White House this week for his grandfather. It’s refreshing to see the joys of parenthood and grandparenthood displayed in the highest office of the land.

The first 100 days of the Trump administration have been a stark contrast from the last four years under Biden. As the President undoes the undue burdens of the previous administration, Americans can enjoy the freedoms that were intended by the Founders — those of God, family, and country. There is still much more to be done. We implore Congress to continue to work to implement the good policies coming from the White House. As these are introduced, keep an eye out for our emails and alerts so that you can have this information at your fingertips.
