This month, Kelsey Dallas, managing editor of SCOTUSblog, has raised her hand to answer your questions.
Kelsey joined SCOTUSblog in June 2025, after spending 11 years serving in several different roles at the Deseret News. She was most consistently a religion reporter, but she also spent time as a national editor, managing editor, newsletter writer, and sports reporter. Kelsey grew up in Illinois and went to college at the University of Iowa, where she finished three bachelor’s degrees in four years (in English, economics, and religious studies). After Iowa, she obtained a master’s degree in religion from Yale Divinity School. Kelsey now lives in the Madison, Wisconsin, area with her husband, two young boys, two anxious dogs, and two slightly evil cats.
