Freedom needs no explanation,
It’s implanted in our hearts.
God gave us this disposition,
To excel and do our part.
Freedom follows moral rules,
To protect the weak from the strong.
Without restraint of proud fools,
Free countries can’t last very long.
That means freedom isn’t free.
Sacrifice and dedication,
Must hold off its enemies,
Or face sure elimination.
Our wise and brave forefathers,
Told an overbearing King,
We’d keep our own borders,
And let independence ring.
Then praise God for He extended,
Grand protection from on high,
And liberty was defended,
Before all things went awry.
That was just the beginning,
For America to stay free,
Enemies are always lurking,
To take rights from you and me.
The battle never ceases,
There is always a threat,
If vigilance decreases,
Or we go too deep in debt.
Strong patriots don’t be lazy,
Be ready in any season.
Freedom is a delicacy,
Evil devours without reason.
