Britain has always feared both Germany and Russia in every way. The City of London is a financial and, therefore, political powerhouse that has great world influence. It might be said of our relationship that Great Britain is the brains and the USA is the brawn among the Western nations. The humans involved are the major owners of a nations largest corporations which provide them the wealth to control the country. The power flows from the wealthy families through the various levels of government to the ignorant and apathetic masses.
Wealthy families influencing their countries to war remind me of professional sports teams like the NFL where the team owners sit in expensive luxury boxes to enjoy the contest below. If there is any danger involved with remaining in a country at war, they move their families to one of their other countries until the war is over. In all cases, the masses supply the money and the blood. The people even cover major corporate losses as in our bailout of the banking system in 2008 when there is no war.
The trillion dollars of interest that we pay on our national debt every year is totally unconstitutional as Congress is supposed to issue our currency, not some group of bankers.
