After a brief hiatus due to some website rejiggering, we are excited to bring back our Monthly Mailbag feature, in which members ask questions of a rotating cast of Dispatch staffers. This month, Ross Anderson, editor of The Morning Dispatch, has raised his hand to answer your questions.
Ross joined The Dispatch and took over as editor of The Morning Dispatch in August 2025. He also writes a fashion and technology column for the New York Sun. Before joining The Dispatch, he had worked as Life Editor at The Spectator World, served as a researcher for Dispatch contributor Jesse Singal, and worked as a high-end bartender. He was born in Northern Ireland, raised in Australia, and has lived in New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, and elsewhere—thus his very odd accent. He now resides in London.
