Heritage’s position on the need to fight antisemitism are longstanding and unchanging.
We stand firmly and unequivocally against antisemitism. It is a vile, destructive ideology that has no place in America—or anywhere in the world. It’s why we spearheaded Project Esther, our comprehensive initiative to combat antisemitism and strengthen the moral foundations of our civilization.
Our goal is not merely to condemn antisemitism, but to defeat it—to confront its lies head-on and call those who have fallen prey to this dark ideology to Truth.
The think tank, under Kevin Roberts’s leadership, is leading the conservative charge against this ancient bigotry.
Our Position in Action:
- Letter to the Editor | Victoria Coates: Heritage Always Stands Against Antisemitism, The Wall Street Journal: The think tank, under Kevin Roberts’s leadership, is leading the conservative charge against this ancient bigotry.
- Public Remarks | Dr. Roberts on Catholics Against Antisemitism, Franciscan University: Soon after the October 7 attacks against Israel, Kevin Roberts joined the Philos Project and the Franciscan University of Steubenville to launch a new coalition: Catholics Against Antisemitism. In his remarks, Kevin discusses the responsibility that Catholics have to fight antisemitism in American life.
- Initiative | Project Esther: Hostility, hatred, and prejudice toward the Jewish people is an organized movement. The virulently anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, anti-American groups comprising the “pro-Palestinian movement” inside the United States are part of a highly coordinated, global Terrorist Support Network. To meet this moment, The Heritage Foundation has embarked on Project Esther which intends to dismantle the infrastructure that sustains the Terrorist Support Network, promote disassociation with international groups that fund terrorism, and ensure Israel’s security and sovereignty in the Middle East. Through Esther, Heritage devised a detailed plan to confront the antisemitism that runs rampant in American academia, public policy, pop culture, and the private sector. While all success should be credited to President Trump and his team, the Administration’s work to combat antisemitism and the pro-Hamas movement closely mirrored the recommendations in Project Esther.
- Public Event | Combatting Antisemitism in the U.S.: On January 22, 2024, in response to the alarming rise in antisemitic incidents and pro-Hamas rallies in the United States following the October 7 attacks, Heritage hosted the first public meeting of the National Task Force to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism in the United States. The coalition of concerned organizations and volunteers delivered their initial findings and recommendations for combatting antisemitism at home, as well as explicitly condemned antizionism as antisemitic and a threat to Israel.
