Given this rare gift from God.
You have a person to be savored,
Or even somewhat awed!
Thank The Lord for your prize,
And all the good times to recall,
Even as you realize,
You’ve made it through the long haul.
Yet, God’s love is the very best.
He never leaves nor forsakes,
He is above all the rest,
Because His love is never fake.
God’s true love is most tender,
Flowing directly from His heart,
Always willing to render,
Another chance to restart.
His love is fresh every morning,
Poured out through His Only Son,
Forgiving and renewing,
Never leaving you undone.
Love is fine with a spouse,
Who loves with charity,
But God’s love is all about,
Extending to eternity!
